Influential Sports Inc. is a Canadian promoter of bodybuilding and fitness competitions, delivering select events in partnership with recognized governing bodies within the sport. With a strong athlete-first and community-driven focus, Influential Sports is known for producing high-quality in-person events that emphasize professionalism, fairness, and athlete experience.

To expand the reach and value of its competitions, Influential Sports partnered with StreamEAI to introduce streaming as a new capability within a sport that has traditionally been experienced live and in person.

THE CHALLENGE

Bodybuilding competitions have historically been in-person events, with limited options for remote viewing or post-event access. Influential Sports saw an opportunity to extend the value of each event beyond the venue, but had no existing streaming capability or technical infrastructure.

Key challenges included:

  • Introducing streaming into a format where it had not previously been used

  • Enabling remote viewing for family, supporters, and sponsors unable to attend in person

  • Providing athletes with access to recorded performances for review and development

  • Unlocking new revenue opportunities without increasing event risk or costs

  • Implementing a solution that was affordable and practical for infrequent events

OUR ROLE

StreamEAI worked with Influential Sports to design and deploy a cost-effective streaming setup tailored to occasional, event-based use.

This included:

  • Enabling live and on-demand streaming for selected competitions

  • Supporting simple workflows that could be used by non-technical operators

  • Providing monetization capabilities to generate incremental revenue per event

  • Minimizing upfront investment and ongoing operational overhead
